Jim Bates, an accomplished professional, possesses 25+ years of expertise across finance, commercial real estate, SaaS, AI, and business operations. His impressive career spans global and national firms like Bear Stearns, NAI Commercial Real Estate, and United Technologies as well as startups and middle-market firms.

Jim's background includes roles at Bear Stearns in New York and San Francisco, where he excelled in private banking, hedge fund research, and wealth management services for C-suite executives. He was instrumental in sourcing deals for the investment banking and fixed income groups.

As a commercial real estate professional, Jim has specialized in investment properties, leasing, structuring large commercial investments, cash flow modeling, and deal negotiations. He has represented investors on both the buy-side and sell-side, working with institutional REITs, insurance firms,  and family offices. Notably, Jim led a $50 million transaction for the Questar Gas corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City, representing both buyer and seller.
